Tour Day: 9
On the road again...to Avignon, but first a grocery store stop to pack ourselves a picnic to eat in front of an ancient Roman aqueduct, the Pont du Guard!
The Pont Du Guard on the way to Avignon!

Lavender Fields Forever 🎶
I definitely recommend a sleep mask for a trip like this to help you catch some Zs, whenever you can! Traveling can wear a girl (or guy) out! It was super nice to have it to block the light out when we were on the bus, although I totally had FOMO and would take it off every few minutes until I fell asleep because I didn't want to miss anything!

The water was cold, but so refreshing! When else will we be able to say we swam in a river by an ancient Roman aqueduct!?
Arriving in Avignon
This was right outside our window!!

Just some cute sites that we saw on our orientation walk with our group and Steve!

Tour Day: 10
Today, we headed to Arles via train with assistance from Steve, spent the day in Arles with 104 degree Fahrenheit heat, cooled off with some gelato, then met up to enjoy some rosé with our tour group and Steve back in Avignon! Also, if you want to see ancient Roman ruins without going to Rome, I highly recommend Arles! It was so neat!

Tourists never let me sleep!
My little buddies in the pockets of the arena

Story Time
~So we have no idea what happened, one minute we were in the 21st century visiting an ancient roman arena, and the next, we are seeing a real gladiator walk out of a hallway in the arena...we still aren't sure what happened, but I choose to believe we went back in time for a few minutes!

Real gladiator?...
We think so!

Orange Blossom
Lavender
Okay, hear me out people...lavender gelato is the most delicious thing I have ever tasted in my entire life, and you have to try it in Provencial France!!!!!

Pretty little fountain in Arles!
